Fear is elusive. You cannot grasp it. Even if you think you are unafraid, on some level your actions are boxed in by what you think is possible.
You are withholding your abilities because you are afraid of pain. Not moving isn’t a solution. You need to keep yourself active or you will have more pain in the long run.
Facing pain with dignity is the hardest thing in the world. As a human, dignity is the goal.
