To become better you must create. Creating and consuming have a fundamental difference. It’s easier to read a short story than a novel. It’s also easier to create a short story than a novel. What is easy is not always best.

You grow more from creation than consumption. It’s more rewarding. Creating something new forces you across unknown territories. That teaches you.

When you create you put what you’ve consumed to use. Creation is hard because ideas are scattered. Maintaining constant focus is harder than quitting once.

Creating is more difficult than most people realize. That’s why value comes from creation, not consumption. The world is better when you’re adding your insight.
