Peter Thiel wrote an interesting article on the End of the Future. His main point is that the future does not automatically improve. To make things happen you have to actually struggle. Sitting back will stop the innovation.
The War of Art talks about the battle having to be fought anew everyday. This is something I have found to be true. No matter how much you love the work, you must rest. Then you may fight the dragons again the next day.
A new battle every day does not mean that bad will crush you. It means that in order to get better you must wrestle with defeat.
It seems every day you should be seeking your passion and making it happen. What can you do right now to put yourself in a better mood?
Why aren’t you doing it?
