Everything You Do Matters

Consider this fact. Everything you do has an impact on other things, and that impact can set off ripple effects that impact other things. This all happens in an emergent, twisty and counterintuitive way.

You bump into someone at the grocery store, accidentally knocking them into a course that changes their lives. Because of that brief interaction maybe they miss a green light and wait half a minute longer to get somewhere, changing something down the road that no one (not even in principle) could predict.

So, what does this mean? It means that life cannot be predicted, nor can any one thing be counted as irrelevant or nonimpactful.

If every action you make or don’t make is changing the reality around you, then everything you do matters. Somehow the universe decided for you to do something.

Respect that. Honor your errors as if they have hidden intention.
