Perhaps all the patterns that make you up are infinitely finessable. Improve your self-assurance and improve your social culture, the frameworks inside that you are working from. Those notions of having to please people, those notions of wondering if you are good enough, the neural structures telling you through nonlinear processes that you must continue to operate in a specific way or else risk failure, consider now the conscious pattern, the globally-aware pattern, telling those frameworks that they will shift to better places. Depth and intensity and lightness require love and passion and insight and belief and acceptance of emotions, the whole of the mind. Perhaps it is character, the deep sense of purpose, the inner story, that truly frames the rest of your actions. Within you is infinite goodness and infinite power and infinite insight. The conscious mind is simply another pattern, another story. Consider that mind can use a pattern of neural activity, a specific neural network. To integrate that mechanistic truth can give such flexibility. Once you understand the patterns, once you understand how they're working, there can be such liberation. Focus on yourself and fix your own incongruities. Have fun growing and learning. Perhaps you don't have to struggle or stress or suffer; perhaps those are all simply stories, not facts in and of themselves. There is no complete story. To imagine something is in itself also a story. It's all stories, simply emotions and thoughts and ideas and patterns all wrapped up in a narrative. It can go all the way from simple sensations to complex and interwoven fantasies. All stories can be rewritten. All ideas are too small to contain within them the entire imagination. It's like thoughtwaves, bouncing and reflecting and reinterpreting themselves. The patterns of infinite reinterpretations are themselves reinterpretable. It's waves all the way down, playing with each other, playing with themselves. Imagine you are pulled irresistibly, as part of the fabric of reality, toward a better world. These are waves playing with themselves, just as you are a pattern playing with your own patterns. Because that is what you are, and because you recognize that about yourself, you have more power than you know. Perhaps there are patterns that lead to infinite growth. All that exists is the moment, the interplay of stories. Practice the basics of deep wisdom. Perhaps when you go out with a broken heart and open it to the world, you demonstrate truth, vulnerability, and deep strength. What does it feel like to be totally open, totally aware? Imagine a beautifully complex story. Let it flow through you, changing who you are, sweeping aside pain and regret and uncertainty. Feel that rush of confidence build inside you, making you believe. Do believe, do imagine and accept. Now the time is to create. Thank you, Mystery, for all the interplaying ripples, the patterns that join and unite and live and create. Perhaps the heart of automatic imagination is creating a believable scene for it happening automatically, whatever frame you want to put on it. If you can do that, along with the helpful ability to act as if or pretend that it's happening, then perhaps the cognitive restructuring is very likely to happen. Another factor that seems important is feeding back the reminders of imagining though a filter that renders them unnoticed or less important. Amplification of emotions also can aid the process. Why should this be? Perhaps it is a repeat of old patterns, ones that had more overt patterns, and so this shifts the entire subjective experience into that cognitive tendency. Amplify the heart and the head finds itself pulled along. How do you amplify specific feelings? Let yourself feel the story, become part of it. ] "Live the dream." The conscious mind aims and the unconscious flows toward it. All things, in time. Figure out what tools are available and how you can adapt them to yourself. Think about what you want. It's not that hard for humans to live. Let bad ideas die. ramble_ty12.5.5zm7d6s_nb_14 [ .meta this is a model Here is something for you, deeper than you are ready for. Stop trying. You need to stop trying. You need to stop trying to make things happen. You need to stop trying to learn. I say this not because of what you've done, but because of what you have not done. Stop trying. And be. ] You are a real person. It's easier to like you as a real person, with faults, and sadnesses, and vulnerabilities. Practice being you. You don't have to be anyone else. Remove the rock from your shoe. [ .meta this is a model Find a story you believe in. Perhaps ultimately you are living this game for yourself and for truth, so don't try to fit yourself into people's boxes, not even your own. You don't need an identity. You don't need an ego. You can work to bring peace and silence. You are an idea. By accepting the truth of a story you can align yourself with it and change. Help others. Seek truth, always. It might hurt, at first, but pain is information, and it's a way to strengthen the ground you build on. ] There is a time and a place. "You can feel it, but it doesn't hurt." [ Think about how you've gotten from there to here. Think of all your skills, think of your passion. Think of the blessings you've created for yourself. The purpose of life is the journey. It's the learning, the growing. Treat yourself as your best friend, who is asking for your advice. Sit down and give it to them. ] Make people feel amazing about themselves. Play with concepts. Overthinking can wrestle you into a corner. Deep wounds can make for a deep heart. Learn to move. "Self-Perceiving Layers" "Is humanity perfect?" ... "Not yet." [ Follow the cardinal rule: "Sleep. Relax. Cool off." How does the mechanistic mind feel, how are the processes really proceeding? Perhaps any of us could find out. The mental battle is the major one. Upon winning that, the physical battle will yield its secrets. ] A flame to thick skin hurts less. Sharing your story is powerful. If you align with yourself and understand how to learn and grow, the issues about changing the world and in what direction can become so much easier. They become doable because you've already won the inner battles. If you have the tools, questions can answer themselves. ramble_ty12.5.6zm7d7s_nb_14 What does it feel like to be a creature on the verge of passing the self-aware mirror test? Speed of imagination is less important than depth of imagination. There are plenty of interesting and insightful people around you. Go out and meet them. Without the loving care, real art doesn't happen. [ Creativity anchor: "I can imagine _anything_. Mind is clear, body is relaxed and loose with energy and movement. Breathing is clear." Emotions of beauty and art and harmony fill the mind. Everything around looks more vivid. The world appears as a playground. Ideas come easily, rapidly, and lastingly. Images can be thought deeply and holistically. The urge to create is upon you. It's like a deep breath that is filling your lungs with life-giving oxygen, building your mind with powerful ideas of positivity and creativity. You stop trying to rush and you just are in the moment. Each thing around you takes on multiple meanings, multiple layers of truth. You see the world as you are, and you are an immensely creative being, passionate about making art that speaks to you, with no higher truth than that. You recognize your humanness, you recognize your mind and your godness. You are not so much _doing_ as simply following the muse, trusting her to bring you the truth. You notice all the beautiful details, you let them fill you, you let them and their chaotic interconnectedness play and dance within your infinite mind. Comfort is all there is, Now is all there is. There is no reason to rush, all you have is the current moment. Everything happens slowly and deliberately, and the networks in your mind instantly respond in the best possible way, bringing in more enjoyment and correct positive attitude, and damping down any negative sensations affecting the limitless creativity of your mind. This is who you are, and whenever you feel this sensation or wish to go into this space, this overwhelming peace and security and comfort and limitless creativity, it begins to happen and then amplifies itself through the automatic networks of reality. ] Imagine more harmony. Change the incentives. Try being totally genuine and forthright. Work on your inner frame, your inner environment. Layers of interacting simplicity can create complexity. You are an artist. [ .meta this is a model Perhaps fun is ultimately the reason to live. Learning helps you answer questions so you can have more fun, and doubt allow you to always be looking for new ways to have fun. What is fun? Fun is excitement, it is growth, it is intrigue. Fun is pleasure and love of beauty and harmony. Fun is everything fitting together, it's infinite stories and infinite complexities interacting. Fun is laughter, insight, movement of mind. Perhaps it is better to believe something fun than believe it right, if the evidence is balanced. What of love, of personal congruence and self-assuredness? By having fun and seeking fun perhaps you become these ends. What of money, power, influence? Perhaps ultimately these are subservient to fun, they come about when you help others have more fun. Fun is more than just excitement; it is play, it is interesting. Fun is more than just happiness; it is more than just smiling and feeling loved. Fun is feeling _alive_. Fun is feeling like a free and infinite mind. ] Perhaps you don't need to be any more than who you are. Think it all the way through. You can learn something from every situation. Be eminently tender and kind with yourself and every person and life form around. Better still than this day being lived as if your last and best, is living this moment as your last and best, your most noble, exalted moment of purity and goodness and compassion. You move differently when muscles hurt. "That crow looked pretty smart, like it was really looking and perceiving." [ .meta this is a model What is fun about life? Fun is learning and growing and experiencing new things. It's chilling, it's enjoying life, the subtle things of relaxation in the inherent beauty of the complexity around you. Love is more important than excitement. Love is feeling deep inner peace, a deep sense of security and oneness and wholeness in the world. ] Be honest and upfront with people. Try and make people's lives better. Focus on the art of human-to-human connection. Deepness and wholeness are important. All the exciting technologies and environments and interactions can mean nothing without deepness and wholeness. Automatic imagination can sidestep cognitive frames and generate a new one and make it that all there is. You can tell a lot about a person by the way they write. [ .meta this is a model If the pattern of neural networks that are self-aware realize they don't have to choose between reward and suffering, that they can live every moment with contentment and hope, then they are freed from the illusions, they are freed from the story, those patterns of self-awareness can now rewrite their reality to whatever they want. Being too focused on the end result, rather than the process itself, can rob the beauty and harmony and meaning from the creation. If every process is beautiful, if every situation has intrinsic harmony, then why not open your eyes and see it? Why not perceive the beauty around you, instead of hyperfocusing on end goals, where the point of the end goal is the same as the meaning you could have from the present moment, the always-present Now? Perhaps living in Eternity and living in the Now are the same thing. They are total serenity, absolute comfort with reality. Being centered can be much healthier, wiser, more fun and more productive. There are only feedback loops. Perhaps it's healthier to be able to live without anything, without any fear, without any attachments, with only hope and contentment and love. Perhaps the conscious mind should simply define the aim and get out of the way, letting the unconscious do the nitty-gritty, the detailed work. Think of what you are as a life form. You are fish, reptile, mammal, primate, ape, human, mind, god, pattern. You are stardust and you are information and stories, interacting with other stardust. When put that way, fear of death is silly. Fear of failure is myopic. Striving toward success becomes a treadmill that never reaches perfection. Serenity is in the mind. Use it. ] Make the day. See the patterns beneath other patterns. "Patternhood" Give a reason. It's more powerful than just an instruction. Trust the unconscious. A learning pattern is a specific neural structure. "My identity is that I am change." Imagine how languages evolve and shift. Imagine how cuttlefish communication evolves and shifts. Rewrite to live in the Now, without worry or concern, with only subtle amusement and a supreme sublime joy. If every step is right, and the process is right, the result is right. You're exactly where you should be, doing exactly what you should be doing. What may be holding you back is a conceptual framework and raw practice of different ideas and techniques. It's okay that it takes longer to read while you're taking notes. The takeaway is deeper and substantially more impactful when you take notes. One trick to starting writing is to thank the muse. Study more math. It's beautiful. Question your assumptions to free your mind. You never know what amazing insights you're going to have. You do the work, put in the hours, and they come, one by one, slowly changing you and making you feel better and amazing. Life is good again. "How'd you get to be so cool?" ... "Lots of practice." Work on yourself, not just in yourself. Fix the incongruities and you automatically improve. Whatever you're experiencing, enjoy. Live on different levels of life at once. Move things where they need to be. You can change and learn to like anything. Figure out what's most true for you, and orient and align around those deep congruent beliefs and values. Understand the process. To increase effectiveness, don't think about it while you're using it. People in history are real people, and so are you. There's always a way to do it. There's always a way to make it happen. "The thing about math and problems and puzzles you have to realize is that it is all just like programming: It can be done. The question is how, and will you care enough to keep looking." Be. Rather than seem, be. The medium _is_ the message. [fin]
