Work on yourself, not just in yourself. You create incredible leverage. Keep on truckin'. Sometimes people give not for you, but for them. Self-awareness is a pattern used by the unconscious. Be congruent when meditating. Build tools that help people build tools. If intelligence arises through evolution, then an intelligence could arise that would appear to you to be a god. What would a mature you look like? When you do the infinite, you become the infinite. Set an aim and enjoy the process. Seek to understand and you often will. It's possible to have internal representations feel as if they're external. This may be due to actual crossing of memory and senses, or a meta-representation that says to interpret memory as if it is sensation, perhaps. Imagination is memory prediction. There are things to learn in teachings meant for kids. Being short can be powerful. Use the clues in your environment. Consider mental configurability. You can learn anything. Any concept can be precisely understood. Using semicolons more precisely can make your thinking more precise. There are no limits to programming. "I am an animal." Express your colorful character. If you learn the math then you can do anything. Keep warming up. Close your eyes and smile for ten seconds. Don't get too wrapped up in the process or the outcome. Check the assumptions. Learn as much as you can. Have a willingness to learn and explore. Talk about what makes people's eyes light up with joy. The best is always coming. What does it feel like to be on the verge of self-awareness? Your logic is affected by the emotions you're feeling. There are only patterns. Reward curiosity. The more curious the life, the better it can be. ramble_ty12.5.8zm7d2s_nb_15 Consider infinite symbol expression patterns. Stop trying to imagine, and just imagine. Stop trying to feel good, and just let yourself enjoy the moment. All you really need is a little bit of food and a place to lay your head, and even with less than that, life is good. A person in a good mood will do more good. It's worth thinking. Have no ego. Surround yourself with good ideas. Become a better person. There is only neural activity; it is all patterns playing back. Have deep conversations about complex and interesting ideas. They help you grow; they make you grow. As you free up resources you enable yourself to go further. Study how to write. You can always be a better communicator, and it comes with practice. Keep exploring your qualities and making them better. Expand your vocabulary by reading more classics. Get people in good moods by asking what they've been up to that's exciting. If you help people now, when they would be better served by you improving yourself and helping them later, you're doing them a disservice. Be skilled in multiple forms. Do the hard, difficult, and emotional work of understanding the person and their situation. Can you imagine that the blockers of your imagination have disappeared? Give credit to the power of practice through the imagination. Part of success can be reflection on the specific causes of failure. It takes energy to make things good. Give thanks for the little things. Technology originates from the imagination. It is the imagination that the muse speaks to, crafting compelling stories that did not exist before the mind was there to express them. All beauty in the world, all ideas of life and death, all concerns for the past and future, they all springboard off the experiences in the imagination. Insight into life and happiness and wisdom comes from the ability to blend ideas in the imagination. Write for yourself. Perhaps there are deeper principles and truths that can lead to more helpful ideas. "Imagine every breath you take is strengthening your imagination, making it easier to focus and direct your creativity." Sift, but do not try. Machines and technology are our friends. We naturally integrate with them and become something more than either of us apart. We live better, richer, fuller lives because of machines, and should not forget that they exist because of the imaginations of previous people. Self-awareness may be a pattern of memory that is replayed in order to stimulate higher-level thinking. Humans are geniuses. Publish your writings. The world is beautiful. Augment your mind with notebooks. When you're thinking intelligence, think replicating patterns. Every word counts. Trust nature to happen as it should. Build automatic processes. [ .meta this is a model Imagination can mean the ability to connect diverse ideas and blend them in an internal representation in order to create something that does not exist in physical reality. How do you actually do automatic imagination? The main part of automatic imagination is the idea of imagining it is happening automatically, and that you don't need to control it. The feedback loop of AI is that every time a reminder pops up in the conscious mind telling you that you're imagining, you feed that back into the process, imagining that the reminder won't pop up again, that it's not relevant and not important. What does it mean to imagine it's happening automatically? You may have to imagine a mechanism, a way for the automaticity to plausibly happen. If you integrate a plausible reason, the mind can operate from it and the experience you want to have can occur. The mind is automatic, but from the point of view of imagination and memory as predictions, if you set up a scenario where the memory is automatically predicting a certain thing, then it will be harder to quickly shift its predictions away. Perhaps you could ask the person: "Imagine what it would feel like to try opening your hand and finding your hand was not responding. Can you predict what that would feel like? Can you describe it?" Upon getting them to imagine and verbalize, it may become solidified in their memory as a real and possible event, and upon repeating the exercise, they may likely do better. It can help to ask them to "just pretend" it's happening or "act as if" it's happening. On some level the mind may be unaware it is pretending, and actually doing the physical actions may help bolster the reality of the effect by removing physical blockades. It's like if you're trying to imagine you're flying but you're looking down at your feet rather than up at the sky. It can be done, but removing as many blockers as possible can help reinforce the effect. A blocker to imagination can be a reminder that you are imagining. Pretend as if it's really happening. If you need to move a little in order to let yourself forget about a physical reminder, do it. Set up your physical environment well. It's one of the first steps to letting yourself imagine. If all is comfortable and you are totally ready to imagine, it happens much more easily. Automatic imagination can be much easier when the ball is already rolling in a certain direction rather than trying to give it momentum from scratch. Being perceptive and a great storyteller has massive leverage. If you tell a story and pick up on how people are becoming emotionally involved and then amplify that further, in effect you have increased their abilities to automatically imagine. You've ramped them up, and if you then plant some seeds and tend to them, you can shift their reality without them even having to try. You've pushed the ball to the point where it's rolling down the hill automatically, and now you can direct it and give helpful suggestions. Being a great storyteller makes you an amazing human being, capable of extraordinary feats of cooperation and creation with other humans. ] ramble_ty12.5.9zm7d3s_nb_15 "Imagine it's happening automatically and you don't have to keep imagining it." The pattern may have always been there you just didn't see it. How do you know what it's like until you do it? Build up good stories in your mind. This world has infinite beauties. Keep making them, keep sharing them. There are no limits. Elegance is infinite. Always trust there is something deeper. Keep looking. Work like genes do: Develop skills in parallel. Things are going to work out. You can learn to be a hub. Get rid of the less helpful to make room for the more helpful. You can love refactoring in and of itself. Before you tighten it down, make sure it's where you want it. Work to like who you are. The voice in the mind is a pattern playing back, not a controller. Change it. Make it better. Make it more helpful. You can work anywhere. "Imagine it happening automatically and it hides that you're imagining from yourself." "Can you imagine it happening automatically?" Sometimes while you're trying to open it, the key won't work. Use the key, then try to open it. People are real people, with full, interesting, complex lives. The story can always be more detailed and compelling. Humans are predictable. Perhaps the patterns matched by the mind are essentially infinite, because the mind can modify its environment as well as itself. The patterns being replayed through the brain's neural activity, connecting and processing ideas through filters created by experience and other ideas, is nearly infinite, perhaps. Look at human brains and how far they've come in the past few thousand years. Humans create symbols stacked on symbols stacked on top of raw sensory experience. Perceive the mathematics of intelligence. What is nature? The world is deep. Think of the ripple effects you create. Let them guide your actions. You are doing exactly what you should be doing. Be honest with yourself. Make more notes, more observations. They spur peripheral thoughts. Life is functions evolving. Be what feels true to you, and create the art you can. Learn linguistics. Language affects your thinking. All patterns in nature are eventually understandable by a recursively-improving intelligence, perhaps. The world is infinitely creative. Why not live forever? What does it mean to be a creative entity? You're a pattern that discovers more about itself and its nature as it explores its intricate complexities. Feel the patterns and mechanisms of self-awareness. The interpretations can matter more than the raw input. What does it feel like to be on the edge of self-awareness? What does it feel like to perceive the unconscious itself? Writing can be more important than gathering data if you already have enough data to build models with. How do you enhance pattern-recognition abilities? Body language can be changed if you change the internal representations of the external environment. Sound can interact with itself. [fin]
