# Hypnosis for Lucid Dreaming – The Art
# Intro
Hello and welcome to NoLiesPlease Hypnosis for the art of lucid dreaming. Lucid dreaming is being aware that you’re dreaming. You’re the director instead of just an actor. You can do or experience anything you want. Hypnosis is a natural experience of focused imagination. When you visualize a specific future it rewrites your mind to perform how you want. Hypnosis is not sleep. You’ll naturally leave it if you need to. You are aware during hypnosis and will remember what happened. This recording is meant to be listened to before you go to sleep. It will help you sleep and have sweet dreams.
# Room Induction
If I ask you imagine something, imagine it as completely as possible. If I ask you to feel something, find that feeling within yourself. Go ahead and make yourself comfortable. If you need to move, that’s just fine. Your mind will still be concentrated on my voice. Start by focusing your imagination. Close your eyes, and imagine a room. In this room you are going to put positive emotions. Remember a time you were really happy? Maybe it was with your family or friends, and you felt totally at peace, totally in the moment. Conjure that feeling within yourself, now. Let it get stronger within you. Feel what it’s like to be really happy, really blissful, full of love and contentment. Feel that memory as it grows stronger, as you feel better and better.
Now see a door leading into this room, this room filled with wonderful emotions of positivity. It’s going to feel great to walk into this room. Build the anticipation of what it’s going to be like to enter this positive room. Enter now, and let the positive emotions from your happy memories roll over you from your feet to your head, and your head to your feet. With each passing breath focus even more on my voice. Everything you hear, both inside and out, helps you focus on my voice. Everything you feel, both inside and out, helps you to follow my instructions.
You might be saying to yourself, “I love this room. I love this feeling of connection with life. I feel good. I love my life. I love this room so much. I want this feeling to last as long as possible. I want to stay in the wonderful space. I am going to stay here as long as I can.” Now notice how far you’ve walked into the room. The door is a great distance from you now, and you’re going to stay in this positive room while I continue talking. Feel how everything I say is instantly accepted as true. Your inner voice is quieting as you focus on my voice. Everything I say is going deep into your unconscious mind and processed automatically for your own benefit.
With every breath you take you go deeper and deeper. Just let your whole body relax. Relax your toes and feet. Feel the muscles in your body letting you sink down as you drift and float and listen to my voice. The world is going to go away for a time, and all you have to do is just follow my instructions. They are easy to follow because I talk slowly. It’s easy to follow the meaning of every word. It’s easy to keep listening. You need to keep listening. This way you can achieve what you want to achieve. Let your imagination run wild as I paint a picture for your unconscious mind.
Relax your legs and arms. Feel them getting heavier and heavier. You might be able to lift them, but you don’t really want to. You want to be still and listen to my voice, as you relax more and more completely. As you drift further and further down, notice the peacefulness that comes from this room embedding itself in your personality. Feel what it’s like to be more joyful and happy.
Relax your stomach, your back, your chest. Feel yourself sinking and drifting. The world is leaving you for a time and all that matters is listening to my voice. Relax your neck and your jaw. Feel them loosen. Relax your eyes and forehead. Your whole body is completely relaxed as you listen to my voice and drift down. Feel what it’s like to have a focused imagination. You can imagine anything you need to imagine, easily and simply. Starting right now, with every breath you take you go deeper and deeper, and the deeper you go the better you feel, and the better you feel, the deeper you go. That’s right. You enjoy the feeling of a concentrated mind. You enjoy being hypnotized. Hypnosis is fun and helpful. You’re good at hypnosis. You enjoy relaxing and focusing on my voice.
# Lucid Expectation
You realize the most important part of having a lucid dream is being in the right mindset. You might say to yourself, “I know and expect to have a lucid dream. I know I can have a lucid dream. I expect to have a lucid dream tonight.” These thoughts help the unconscious mind prepare itself to become lucid. Imagine a time you felt really confident about something. It may be about a test you just aced, or a belief that you hold strongly. Feel that confidence in you. With each breath you take, let that confidence rise in you. Assume you are going to succeed. This confidence is coming on naturally and is applying itself to your confidence in other abilities. Feel this confidence applying itself to your lucid dreaming skills.
You might be saying to yourself, “I believe in myself. I believe in my skills and in my ability to do whatever I put my heart and soul into. I know that I can become aware and control my dreams. I am the absolute master of my own dream universe, and my dreams last as long as I want them to. I go to bed expecting to become lucid. This expectation puts me in the mindset where I recognize signs I am dreaming, such as flying or breathing underwater.”
“I know I can lucid dream. Others have done it before me, many times, and I cultivate the mindset that I am a seasoned lucid dreamer with every breath I take and every time I listen to this session. These words are going deep into my unconscious mind, deep into the mind that creates my dreaming reality. These ideas are going so deep now that my mind is putting me in situations where I realize this is a dream.”
# Dream Journaling
“Because I realize my dreams are important, I am eager to record them into a dream journal. I enjoy audio recording and writing my dreams from what I recall because I learn more about myself.” Visualize waking up, now, and staying completely still, even with your eyes closed. Keep your eyes closed when you wake from a dream, and keep your entire body perfectly still. Visualize as much of the dream as you can, fragment after fragment. It’s almost as if you’re pulling back half-forgotten memories of times gone by.
You might be saying to yourself, “I will stay perfectly still when I awake, even with my eyes closed. I will recall my dream memory as fully as possible and enjoy recording it into my dream journal. I will be happy with each dream I record. I am glad to record as much as I can I do not worry about missing some dreams. I enjoy writing in my dream journal because it helps me to see recurring patterns and events that occur only in my dreams. These signs that I am dreaming I will reflect on as I go to sleep, reminding myself that if I see them I am going to become lucid and aware in my dream. I love dream journaling because dreams really do affect how I think and feel and act. Dreams are an important part of myself and I love to understand them and how they affect me.”
“I learn what my dreams are by recording them into my dream journal. It’s as if nothing gives me greater pleasure than to discover who I am and what makes me tick.”
# Dream Signs
“Part of what makes me tick are my unique dream signs. These signs that I am dreaming could be seeing people that are no longer in my life. Other signs I am dreaming could be that I am flying or floating or that I am breathing underwater. I recognize I am dreaming when I am underwater and still able to breathe. This is because I have a wonderful and automatic memory that is always on the lookout for signs that I might be dreaming. If I am having gun battles or shooting guns and I do not regularly do this, it is likely I am dreaming.”
“I will then perform a reality check by pushing my finger through my hand and imagining it will pass through. This finger-through-hand reality check will seem odd or different if I am dreaming. This reality check is a surefire way to know if I am dreaming. Other signs I am dreaming, besides flying and breathing underwater, are being able to control or move things with my mind. Controlling the movements of objects by using my mind will cause me to become aware I am dreaming. Looking in a mirror and moving and the image not being correct is a sign I am dreaming. Light switches not working is a sign I am dreaming. Being in a place I’ve never been to in waking life is a dream sign and my unconscious mind wants to become lucid. Seeing people from my past that are no longer in my life will cause me to question if I am dreaming, and I will do a finger-through-hand reality check.”
# Dream Control
“When I discover I am dreaming I will rub my hands together and slowly spin. This tactile feedback from my hands causes me to solidly stay in the dream. Slowly spinning causes me to gain visual input from the dream in order to associate with dreaming and gain control over the world. After I have spun and rubbed my hands I am anchored in the dream world.”
“This anchor can be reinforced with reality checks. Every time I do a reality check it becomes more likely that I will enter this state of recognizing I am dreaming. Because this is so, I enjoy testing if I am dreaming. I know that at any point in the dream I can shout out “Show me something amazing” and my unconscious dreaming mind will deliver it to me. All I have to do is shout out “Show me something amazing” and then I will discover how amazing my mind really is. By spinning and rubbing my hands I am anchoring myself in my dream life. I will continue to overload my senses in order to stay in the dream for as long as I desire. I remember I am in a dream as I preform a reality check. This makes the world more stable and clear. Anything I want to happen I can make happen simply by imagining it will happen automatically. I state out loud what’s going to happen and this causes it to happen. I feel an anchor connecting me to the dream, solidly holding me there and reminding me to slowly rub my hands together and spin.”
# Lucid Expectation
“I expect to stay in my dreams for long periods of time because I am the master of my dream universe. I will touch something in the dream and look directly at it while repeating “This is a dream. This is a dream.” I use all my senses especially the sense of touch. This tactile feedback solidifies my anchor to the dream. I know dream control becomes easier with each time I do it. I expect it to get easier and it does. I expect to have many lucid dreams, both tonight and in the future. I believe that what I see tonight are dreams, and I expect to notice my dream signs, especially of flying, floating, and breathing underwater. Every night I go to bed expecting to become lucid in my dreams. I am great a identifying signs I am dreaming. I have the confidence of an accomplished lucid dreamer. I can do whatever I put my heart and soul into.”
“As I’m giving in to sleep I will repeat to myself “I am aware I am dreaming.” Every time I repeat “I am aware I am dreaming” it sinks deeper and deeper into my mind, and my dreaming brain uses this phrase to make me aware I am dreaming. Each time I repeat “I am aware I am dreaming” I believe with even more conviction that I am going to experience lucidity in my dreams. I work with the anticipation that I will succeed. I am confident that I will lucid dream tonight.”
“If I wake during the night I will repeat to myself “I am aware I am dreaming” and really mean it every time I say it. This makes it stick deep in my unconscious mind and causes me to become lucid. I believe this.”
# Giving in to Sleep
“I know how to go to sleep by using an effective visualization technique. I will use this technique whenever I desire to fall asleep. I picture my conscious mind as an object that will fit in my hands. My conscious mind has a shape. It has a color. What shape does it have? What is its color? How does it feel? This object fits into the palms of my hands. I am holding this object out, as if a gift to fleep to come and take away for a time. I feel myself offering up my conscious mind to sleep. I am giving my conscious mind to sleep. Slowly I am falling into a rhythm of thought as it slowly moves from idea to idea and sleep approaches.”
“With each passing breath I am going deeper and deeper toward sleep. I feel tired and ready to sleep. I am repeating to myself “I am aware I am dreaming” as I drift form idea to idea and come closer and closer to sleep. Sleep is deciding to overtake me, now, accepting my gift of my conscious mind. Every muscle in my body is relaxing as I drift further and further into my mind, letting the worries of the day float away. I am feeling my conscious mind float away, as if it is lighter than air and and going further and further away now. I feel worries disappearing from sight, leaving me with positive thoughts of love and kindness and justice and purity and truth.”
“These thoughts of love and kindness are coming up within me now, reminding me of memories that make me smile. Perhaps they are memories of times with friends and family or memories of great books, music, or movies. Wherever these memories of love and kindness are coming from, they are becoming stronger now. I feel them getting stronger, as if I have a knob that controls these feelings. I’m turning up the knob now, and I notice these feelings becoming even stronger. Every time I listen to this session these feelings of love and kindness get even stronger and they begin to affect my life in ways unseen.”
“I’m going deeper and deeper now, ready to sleep and experience lucid dreaming adventures. I am aware I am dreaming. I recognize my dream signs. I slowly rub my hands together and spin while remembering this anchors me to the dream world. I know I control the dream world with my expectations. I expect to lucid dream tonight. I know that to fall asleep all I need to do is visualize my conscious mind as an object and offer it up to sleep. This will draw me deeper and deeper and sleep accepts my gift as I relax my body and go even deeper. My toes and feet are relaxed and comfortable. My legs and arms are relaxed and comfortable. With each breath I take, my back, stomach, and chest are even more deeply relaxed. In and out, even deeper I go. I find it easy to enjoy listening to this session.”
“I’m drifting off to sleep now. Deeper and deeper down, finding it easier and easier to let go and let sleep accept my gift. I have patience with the art of lucid dreaming. I know any remembered dream is fruitful. I practice being calm and patient and expecting lucid dreams to come. I know I can stay completely still and I will always fall asleep. Deeper and deeper, now. More and more relaxed. My neck relaxing, my hands relaxing. Deeper and deeper I go. My face relaxing, my jaw relaxing, my eyes and forehead relaxing. My whole body is relaxed and ready for sleep. I have let go of my fears and I am ready to enter a deep and profound sleep. Deeper and deeper I go. I enjoy sleeping. Goodbye, world.”
This is great! I can’t wait to listen to it more to reinforce the hypnosis. Looking forward to dreaming tonight.
